Nigeria records 182 cases of COVID 19, six deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded an additional 182 cases to Nigeria’s covid 19 infection tally.

According to the agency, the new positive samples bring the total confirmed cases in the country to 211,678.

The new infections were reported in 14 states and the federal capital territory (FCT) as Taraba topped with 38 cases, while Lagos and Zamfara state recorded 27 and 25 cases respectively.

Other states are Benue (21), FCT (17), Gombe (13), Kaduna (12), Plateau (12), Jigawa (5), Kano (3), Rivers (3), Abia (2) and Edo (2). Bauchi and Bayelsa reported one case each.

Meanwhile, 45 patients recovered from the virus, while six persons died of COVID complications raising the country’s total casualty figure to 2,892.
