Nigeria has recorded 117 new cases of the Coronavirus disease bringing the total infections to 782 cases.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced these new cases via his official Twitter handle on Tuesday night.
The health agency while giving details of the new cases noted that Lagos which is the epicenter of the virus in Nigeria recorded 59 new cases after it recorded no case on Monday.
NCDC also noted that FCT recorded 29 new cases, Kano added 14 new cases, 6 cases in Borno, 4 in Katsina, 3 in Ogun, 1 in Rivers and 1 new case in Bauchi state.
The health agency also wrote “Five cases previously reported in Lagos State have been transferred to Ogun State,
“Therefore, Lagos has reported 430 confirmed cases while Ogun has reported 20 confirmed cases, it added.
The death toll in the country have now risen to 25, while a total of 197 patients have been discharged after testing negative to the Coronavirus.
