Nigeria dazzles at international science exhibition fair


Nigeria stood out in the Oguzhan Ozkaya Education Karademin Science, Engineering, and Energy Exhibition Fair(OKSEF) in Turkey emerging first and second first and second.

Representing Nigeria in the Junior science category, was Nasarawa state which came out top in the exhibition.

Imo and Ondo states represented the country in the senior science categories, coming second place.

The five-day event held in Ismir, Turkey had representations from 60 countries with 4 from Africa comprising Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, and South Africa.

The event organized by OKSEF is hosted annually to encourage high school students to do scientific and technological research by bringing together young people from the same age group around the world to compete abroad, to make the participation of young people’s projects as a representative, to enlarge their visions and to have a say in the international platform.
