The New Nigeria Network and the #ENDSARS united group have organized a conference to review developments regarding the state of the nation. In the conference held in Lagos on Thursday organizers of the event as well as the lead counsel to #ENDSARS protesters Adesina Ogunlana called on the Lagos state commissioner of Police Hakeem Odumosu to as a matter of urgency put an end to the persistent police brutality on residents. Due to the degenerating security situation in the country, the group also said the rising insecurity is as a result of the rate of unemployed youths and called on the government to secure the lives and property of residents. To ensure that the demands of the October 2020 #ENDSARS protesters are met, the group has revealed the date for the launch of its #ENDSARS red paper to honour the victims of the Lekki toll gate shooting.
