Moses Simon has responded to ongoing speculation linking him with a potential move to Premier League side Everton.
The Nigerian winger has been repeatedly associated with a switch to the Merseyside club after delivering another standout season for Ligue 1 side Nantes. The 29-year-old was a key figure for the French outfit, tallying eight goals and ten assists across all competitions in the recently concluded campaign.
Simon has spent five seasons at Nantes and has become one of their most influential players. Amid the transfer rumours, he has expressed interest in playing in the Premier League but made it clear that he is not in a rush to leave.
“I’ve always given my best for this club, and I respect my contract. But of course, every player wants to play at the highest level,” Simon told Sports Boom.
He added, “The Premier League is one of the best in the world. If the right offer comes, and it’s good for me and my family, then why not? But I’m not desperate.”
