Justice Tanko Muhammad has been sworn in as the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

Tanko’s swearing-in is coming less than a week after he was screened and comfirmed by the Nigeria Senate.

He replaces former CJN, Walter Onnoghen who retired earlier in the year.
