To further consolidate the relations between Nigeria and France, the Western Naval Command has played host to the Delegations of the Atlantic French Naval Forces in Apapa, Lagos state.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Staff Officer, Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral Hamza Ka-oje, said the continuous participation of both countries in several foreign courses and peace keeping missions has led to a reduction in maritime crimes.
