Two survivors, 37 fatalities confirmed in Pakistan passenger plane crash

A Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320 flying from Lahore has crashed in the densely populated Model Colony residential area of Karachi.

The plane carrying 91 passengers and eight crew, crashed on approach to the busy Jinnah International Airport.

It was coming from Lahore, a city in Pakistan.

Provincial health officials confirmed at least 37 fatalities, but a far higher death toll is feared. At least two passengers survived.

At least two passengers are confirmed survivors.

The pilot had reported loss of engines and then issued a Mayday. But its yet to be confirmed what actually caused the crash.
