Lawyers protest over killing of Nigerians in South Africa


The death of the Deputy Director-General, of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Elizabeth Ndubisi-Chukwu have led to the protest of lawyers under the aegis of Anambra State Indigenous Lawyers Forum outside the premises of the South Africa High Commission, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The lawyers who were holding placards with different inscriptions took their protest through the streets of Sinari Daranijo, which houses the SA High Commission.

The President of the group, Joe Nwokedi told journalists after the protest that the death Elizabeth Ndubisi-Chukwu is one crime too many.

There was however no response from anyone at the High Commission.
