The Lagos State Government has announced a further relaxation of the curfew imposed on the state.
Commissioner for Information and strategy in the state Gbenga Omotoso, disclosed this on Friday . Omotoso said Governor Babajide Sanwoolu commended residents of Lagos for observing the curfew thus far.
The curfew is now to take effect from 10pm to 6am. The curfew was imposed in the wake of breakdown of law and order, following the hijack of the peaceful #EndSARS protests.
The governor expressed optimism that the relaxation of the curfew will restore normalcy to commercial activities in the state.
Sanwo-Olu urged all residents to go about their businesses in peace and shun actions that can threaten the unity and peace of Lagos state.
