Lagos discharges 33 more COVID-19 patients

The Lagos State Governor,Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge of 33 more COVID-19 patients. Among those discharged are 24 males and 9 females, all of them Nigerians.

According to the Governor, 17 of the patients were discharged from the Onikan isolation facility while 16 were from the Eti-Osa (LandMark) Isolation facility. All of them have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively for COVID-19.

This latest discharge brings the total number of cases successfully managed to full recovery in Lagos to 502.

“We are encouraged by this trend of recoveries and we believe it will continue.

“Citizens are encouraged to strictly observe physical distance, use facemasks especially in public places and practice regular hand hygiene.” the Governor said
