Lagos discharges 22 COVID-19 patients


The Lagos state government has discharged an additional 22 patients who have recovered from COVID-19 in three of its isolation centres.

This was announced in a statement released by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday.

The patients, eight females and 14 males, are all Nigerians.

“The patients, 19 from Lagos University teaching Hospital, 2 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 1 from our Isolation facility at Lekki were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings,” Sanwo-Olu said.

This brings to 247 the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.
