La Liga suspended as Real Madrid quarantines players


Spanish football League, La Liga has been suspended.

The next two matchdays in the league have been put on hold following news that Real Madrid has been forced into coronavirus quarantine.

Several of Spain’s football fixtures had already been disrupted by concerns over the spread of the infection, with matches either being rescheduled or forced to play behind closed doors.

Now, however, with Madrid having gone into isolation after learning that a member of their basketball team had tested positive for Covid-19, things have become even more complicated.

The is coming hours after Juventus announced that its players are now on self-isolation after one of its players was diagnosed with the Coronavirus.
