JUSUN suspends strike

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has suspended its over two-month-old strike.

This was disclosed in a communique issued by the Deputy President and the General Secretary of the union, Emmanuel Abioye and Isaiah Adetola after its emergency National Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday.

The union is set to commence work on Monday.

Members of the union had embarked on the strike on April 6 to press home their demand for the financial autonomy of the judiciary.
