John Terry Urges Chelsea to Sign Proven Premier League Striker

Chelsea legend and retired English footballer John Terry has advised his former club to strengthen their attacking options by signing a proven centre-forward with Premier League experience.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Terry expressed concerns over the current first-choice striker, Nicolas Jackson, questioning his clinical ability in front of goal while acknowledging the positive aspects of his game.
“Playing against Jackson as a defender is a nightmare because he stretches defenders and opens up space in midfield for his teammates,” Terry said. “But he’s probably not been as clinical as we would like as Chelsea fans.”
The former Blues captain emphasized the need for a more reliable goal-scorer, stating, “Chelsea need to bring in a striker who is proven and has scored goals in the Premier League.”
Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal two years ago, has come under criticism for his inconsistent finishing, despite being praised for his movement and link-up play under new manager Enzo Maresca. Terry’s remarks add to growing calls for Chelsea to bolster their attack ahead of the new season.
