At least 15 people are feared dead in violence which erupted in Ivory Coast as campaign begins for the October 31 presidential election.
Opposition parties have been pushing for civil disobedience since incumbent President Alassane Ouattara announced his decision to seeking a third term in office.
After his re-election in March 2015, Ouattara said he would not pursue an extra term but rescinded on the decision after the sudden death of his preferred successor, Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly in July.
Ouattara and his supporters claim that a 2016 revision of the constitution reset the limit on the number of terms.
This brings in undesirable memories as Ivoirians fear reincarnation of 2010-2011 where over 3000 people died during pre and post-election crisis.
