How Nigerian manufacturer, Toss Afrique is promoting locally produced leather fashion items to international market


Nigeria’s manufacturing sector is believed to have a huge potential to grow and compete with many of its counterparts in most emerging and advanced economies.

But despite being exposed to a market with a population of over 200 million people, the sector is growing only at an average of two percent annually, as a result of the country’s large dependence on foreign made goods and unavailability of Nigerian products in the international market.

Determined to make a difference, a Nigerian entrepreneur has established a handbag manufacturing business, using local sourced materials.
