Group urges South West zone to capitalise on population, change voting pattern


The Alliance of Yoruba Democratic Movements, AYDM has admonished Nigerians of Yoruba extraction to change their voting patterns and capitalise on their massive  population to pull out the required votes in the 2023 general elections.

Speaking at a 2 day conference on 2023 elections held in Lagos on Wednesday. Ayo Opadokun a chieftain of  National Democratic Coalition, NADECO, said it is high time voters in the South West Region began to use their votes to determine their future.

Opadokun added that the low voter turnout in the region has reduced its ability to negotiate from the position of strength in the Nigerian political space.
