Group urges Agbado Oke Odo Council leader to clear corruption allegation


Human rights group, Centre for Economic and Social Rights, has urged the leader of Agbado Oke Odo Council in Lagos State to clear his name from corruption allegations leveled against him.

LYGEL Youths and leadership Initiatives, had in a petition to the independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) accused the Agbado Oke Odo Council leader of diversion of public funds.

However, the coordinator of the Centre, Nelson Ekujumi, told reporters in Lagos that the council leader has been granted administrative bail.

He added that until the investigation and prosecution are concluded, the council leader is innocent.
