Gov. Makinde nominates 27-year-old as commissioner


Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has nominated Seun Fakorede, an alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, as a commissioner in the state.

Fakorede, 27, bagged a Civil Engineering degree from OAU in 2016 and currently runs an entrepreneur and consultancy outfit, and a non-profit outfit, Home Advantage Africa (HAA).

He hails from Idere area of Ibarapa Central local government area of Oyo state.

Fakorede joins two other commissioner nominees –  Faosat Sunni from Iseyin local government and Prof. Raphael Afonja from Ogbomoso North local government – whose names are currently before the Oyo State House of Assembly for screening.
