Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has invited 23 players without regular mid-fielders Wilfred Ndidi and Oghene-karo Etebo for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers’ double-header against the Central African Republic.
Nigeria will host the Central African Republic in a matchday three fixture at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, on Thursday, October 7TH, while the reverse tie will take place in Douala on October 10TH.
The Eagles are top of Group C of the African World Cup qualifiers with six points from their first two games and victory in both games will guarantee the team passage to the all-important knockout rounds scheduled for March 2022, which will produce Africa’s five flag bearers in Qatar.
