An additional batch of 137 Nigerians have been repatriated to the country from Libya.
They were received at the Cargo Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Thursday night.
This brings the total number of assisted voluntary returnees from 10 different countries since April, 2017 to 14,036.
While receiving the new batch, Coordinator of NEMA Lagos Territorial Office, Idris Muhammed revealed that over 850 of the total number have psychosocial related needs.
Idris however thanked the International Organisation for Migration for facilitating the return, and urged Nigerians to be more vigilant when embarking on journeys abroad.
