Former senator, Munir Muse dies at 80


Munir Muse, a former lawmaker representing Lagos Central Senatorial District in the House of Assembly, is dead.

His son, Sulaimon Muse, announced this on Tuesday, saying: “I just lost a very caring and kind-hearted father, Senator Munirudeen Adekunle Muse.”

The party described him as “a community mobiliser and a leader, a gentleman, a pillar and one of the architects of APC in Lagos state”.

Muse was a former Apapa Port Manager, and former Chairman of Apapa Local Government.

He died on Tuesday, barely two weeks after his 80th birthday.
