A fire outbreak in Oba Nla area of Akure, Ondo state capital have destroyed scores of shops and houses.
According to eye witnesses, the inferno which started at about 9pm is said to have been caused by an explosion in a mini gas station around the area.
Meanwhile, firefighters are yet to arrive at the scene of the incident but residents are battling to put out the fire.
Most of the shop owners were not around due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Quite very sad, the rate that fire-outbreak occurred in Nigeria, especially, this particular fire-outbreak,at Obanla-quarters-area, of the capital which is the suburb, of the city.Such fire-out-break, must be due to carelessness-attitude, by traders, operating their businesses, in that area.Sorry for these unnecessary loses to traders, in that vicinity, of the Ondo-State,capital,Akure.
The fire outbreak causes is unknown there is no mini gas station in obanla area of ondo state
