Patrick Iyoha, Director of the Obaseki/Shaibu Movement and a member of the state Waste Management Board, has resigned his appointment.
Iyoha in a letter dated July 28, addressed to Gov. Godwin Obaseki, said that Iyoha in his resignation letter dated July 28, 2020 and addressed to Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, stated that his resignation was with immediate effect and due to personal reason.
He thanked Obaseki for giving him the opportunity to serve the people of Edo State.
The Chairman of the Edo State Post Primary Education Board, Gabriel Oiboh and the first member of the board, Osanyemwere Osawe, also tendered their resignation as well.
Both men said their resignation follows alleged pressure being mounted on them to defect to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
