The eNaira speed wallet application, which was pulled down from the Google Play store, is back online after 24 hours.
The app disappeared from the Google Play store on Wednesday after over 100,000 users had downloaded it.
Spokesperson of the Central Bank of Nigeria on Thursday said the removal was to help the apex bank upgrade the app’s functionalities.
.He said, “There is an upgrade going on at the moment by Google; try in the next few hours.” adding that the application is now back online.
Since the release of the applications, the app received negative reviews from Nigerians, who were disappointed with the tedious registration processes as part of the requirements.
