Dwindling oil production: South-South governors, security chief meet in Abuja


Nigeria’s oil and gas sector has in recent years faced an unprecedented rise in oil theft, sabotage, oil spills and insecurity which has left a huge blow on its crude oil production output.

The situation is so bad that Nigeria has for a while now failed to meet its OPEC crude oil quota.
