Stakeholders in the aviation sector have expressed worry over the safety of airlines inNigeria, adding that they were disturbed in the face of continuous hikes in the price of aviation fuel.These concerns were discussed during a hearing by the House of Representatives ad hoc committee chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmad Wase, investigating the scarcity of aviation fuel.During the session, the CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema reiterated that the airlines are making too much sacrifices to keep the aviation sector alive.On his part, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Idris Wase, charged the relevant government agencies to urgently reduce the price of Jet-A1 fuel to enable airline operators to resume full operations in the country and beyond.
