Lagos State Governor, Babajide SanwoOlu have announced that 45 more patients have been discharged from isolation centres across the state.
The governor who also doubled as the Incident Commander of the state on COVID-19 revealed this in a statement released on Sunday.
The governor said the discharged patients include 18 females and 27 males including four foreign nationals.
While giving a breakdown of the isolation centres where the patients were discharged, the governor said “19 patients were discharged from Eti-Osa (LandMark) 11 from Onikan and 15 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID19”.
The governor said the latest addition brings to 1740, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged from the isolation facilities.
The governor however noted that “it is now a criminal offence in Lagos State to go out without using a facemask urging the residents of Lagos to continue to adhere strictly to all public advisories given by government.
