COVID 19: Nigeria records 74 infections fresh infections, as total tally rises to 255,415


Nigeria has recorded 74 cases of COVID-19, raising the country’s total COVID 19 infection tally to 255,415.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, the infections were logged in eight states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

Lagos topped the infection chart with 35 cases, followed by Bauchi and FCT with 12 and 11 cases respectively.

Others are Abia-5, Kaduna-4, Kano-3, Plateau-2, Oyo-1 and Rivers-1

The NCDC data also showed 40 persons were discharged after they recovered from the infection. No COVID death was recorded in the country.

The agency said the infections were recorded on March 29 and 30.
