The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday, confirmed 61 cases have been reported in nine states including the FCT.
According to the agency, Gombe topped the infection char with 16 cases, followed by Taraba and Zamfara with 15 and 14 cases respectively.
Others are: FCT (7), Kano (2), Lagos (2), Rivers (2), while Bauchi, Delta, and Katsina reported one case each.
The new infections brings the total number of confirmed cases to 213,464.
Meanwhile, 47 people were discharged after they recovered from the infection, while no death was reported leaving the fatality toll at 2,973.
