COVID 19: Nigeria records 141 fresh infections, zero deaths


The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC says 141 cases have been reported across the country.

The health agency in its update revealed the infections were recorded in 11 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

Lagos state topped the chart with 46 cases, while Benue and the FCT recorded 44 and 15 cases respectively

Others are: Kastina (12), Bauchi (9), Kano (4), Delta (3), Enugu (2), Kwara (2), Rivers (2), while Gombe and Plateau reported one case each.

The new infections raise the country’s confirmed caseload to 213,818.

However, no COVID fatality was reported on Wednesday leaving the fatality figure at 2,974.
