COVID 19: NCDC warns against complacency to safety protocols

As Nigeria’s COVID 19 figures round up to 61,930 cases, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned Nigerians against complacency in containing the spread of the disease as the pandemic has yet to be defeated even with the low recorded cases recently.

The public health agency explained that people are no longer seen wearing mask. public gatherings beyond the required numbers have increased as well as general complacency in wearing of face masks, keeping physical distance or washing hands.

The NCDC  advised that zero risk of COVID-19 can not be achieved but can be minimized to safe guard our health and the health of others.
