Nigeria on Wednesday witnessed a decrease in the number of Covid-19 fresh cases, as Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 37 infections across the country.
The new confirmed cases have increased the country’s infection toll to 253,875.
Lagos State, the epicenter of the disease came first on the log with 16 infections. While FCT and Katsina State followed with eleven and four cases respectively.
Other states include: Kano with 3 cases, Rivers with 2 cases and Kaduna 1 case.
However, no death was recorded for the fourth consecutive day, leaving the country’s death toll at 3,139.
The centre further disclosed that 10 persons were discharged after recovering from the infection raising the number of recoveries to 230,221.
