Nigeria on Wednesday witnessed a decrease in the number of Covid-19 fresh cases, as Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 13 infections across the country.
The new confirmed cases have increased the country’s infection toll to 254,137.
Rivers State came first on the log with 7 infections, Nasarawa logged four cases while Abia State and Taraba followed with one cases each.
The agency said Wednesday’s report includes one case logged in Taraba state on February 9.
However, no death was recorded leaving the country’s death toll at 3,141.
The centre further disclosed that seven persons were discharged after recovering from the infection raising the number of recoveries to 230,479.
