Counterfeit drugs in Nigeria: Group calls on FG to reinforce efforts in fighting circulation


An American physician Terrance Baker has charged the Nigerian government on the need to increase its efforts fighting Counterfeit or fake drugs in the country and Africa at Large.

Baker gave the charge in Lagos at the 4th Annual international conference of the Nigerian association of foreign pharmacists where he recommended block-chain technology in the medical sphere and its distribution system in order to track status of medications up to the point of sales.

President of the association, John Eje-zie said the association is partnering with government as well as non governmental agencies in order to checkmate the mortality rate through education and guidance.
