The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has eased the curfew earlier imposed on the state on Tuesday.
According to the directive. residents of Lagos can now move around between 6:00a.m and 8:00p.m from Saturday, October 24, 2020.
He said, “We have decided that we are going to be easing the curfew from tomorrow (Saturday) morning; and what that easing means is that people will be allowed to go out from 8am to 6pm.
“For emphasis, from 8am tomorrow morning, you will be allowed to go out, to go wherever you wish till 6pm in the evening.”
The governor’s directive comes after President Muhammadu Buhari in a national address, directed Nigerians to cease protests and go on with their usual activities.
