Breaking: DSS releases Sowore

The Department of State Services (DSS) has released rights activist and publisher of online newspaper, Sahara reporters, Omoyele Sowore after three months of being remanded in their custody.

The #RevolutionNow convener was arrested and charged to court by the Nigerian government for planning a nationwide protest.

Sowore  was released on Thursday evening after the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered his release for the third time.

He is however expected to appear in court on Friday for commencement of trial.
