BREAKING: Buhari extends lockdown by 14 days


President Muhammadu Buhari has again extended the lockdown imposed on Lagos, Ogun and FCT by fourteen days.

The president announced this while addressing Nigerians during a live broadcast on Monday night.

This is coming exactly fourteen days after the initial lockdown order given by the President on March 29th 2020.

The extension according to the president was to further curb the spread of the Coronavirus disease in the country.

Nigeria has recorded over 300 cases of the Coronavirus disease across 19 states since it broke out in Lagos which is now the epicenter on February 27 2020.

The country have also accounted for 10 deaths due to complications of the infection.
