Authorities launch investigation into Feltham murder


A murder investigation has been launched by Scotland Yard into the shooting of a man at a west London estate.

Police received a distress call shortly after 11pm on Friday night over reports of a shooting at Exeter House, Watermill Way in Feltham.

On arrival, armed police officers and crews from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance found a man, believed to be aged in his 20s, critically injured.

The man, who has not yet been formally identified, died at the scene a short while later.

The investigation will be led by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command.

It is the fourth episode of gun violence on the streets of London in the past week, and the second fatal shooting following the killing of Eniola Aluko, 19 – shot dead in Plumstead on 14 June.
