Assault Scandal: Abbo pleads not guilty, posts N5m bail

Senator Representing Adamawa North, Ishaku Elisha Abbo has been granted bail to the tune of N5m, after he was arraigned on Monday afternoon by the Federal Capital Territory Police before Senior Magistrate Abdullahi Ilellah.

The embattled senator also pleaded ‘not guilty’ to one count of assault during his arraignment before a Zuba Magistrates’ Court in Abuja.

This comes despite a press statement where he admitted to hitting Bibara, a nursing mother in a sex toy shop in Abuja, and a footage that shows him assaulting her.

Details later.
