Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest airline, Air Peace has launched its inaugural international flight to Dubai/ Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, UAE.
This is coming after the airline acquired a four wide-bodied Boeing 777 aircraft with three already delivered for the operations.
The first flight which departed the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) on Friday afternoon recorded more than 80 per cent load factor.
The airline will operate the UAE flight three times a week.
Air Peace has started with attractive promo fare of N180, 000 for a return ticket which is almost half of what the existing carriers on the route charge.
Also the carrier is treating passengers to more baggage allowance, saying, “All first class and business class passengers are entitled to three pieces of 32kg baggage allowance, while economy class passengers are entitled to three pieces of 23kg baggage allowance.
The Dubai/ Sharjah route is the first step in Air Peace’s huge international expansion plans, as the Federal Government has designated the airline to operate to London, Houston, Guangzhou-China, Mumbai and Johannesburg.
