Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has come out really blunt against his own team, admitting that they are not up to Liverpool in standard.
After a 3-1 defeat from the Premier League Champions on Monday night, Arteta during a post-match interview said that he wasn’t too disappointed that they lost because it showed the standard his side still has to reach.
He says that factually, his team was under control for a while, but the Reds superiority led to their downfall in the game.
Arteta seems openly accepting schooling from their big counterpart as he says that he likes the way they play.
“I am really happy in the way the team competed and kept believing. This is the standard we have to reach. We are on a different journey. They have been together five years; we’ve had only few months”
