Arsenal is set to sign 18-year-old Saint-Etienne defender, William Saliba from after agreeing a deal in the region of £26.5 million ($33m).
The teenage centre-back has been a priority for the Gunners this summer and he will now travel to England to put pen to paper on a long-term contract at the Emirates.
Saint-Etienne club president Roland Romeyer insists that Saliba “will stay at the club this season.” “It is an imperative condition should we come to an agreement for his transfer. It’s also William’s wish”, he added.
