APC national convention: President Buhari, others call for unity among party executives


To political matters… Two-time former Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Adamu, has emerged the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

The former Nasarawa State Governor was adopted as a con-sensus candidate by over 7,500 delegates at the national convention of the party held in Eagles Square, Abuja on Saturday.

Also elected through con-sensus is Emma Enukwu from Enugu State as the Deputy National Chairman, South.

The con-sensus candidates were confirmed through voice vote at the national convention of the party.
