The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to former Head of Service of the Federation Winifred Oyo-Ita in the tune of N100million.
Justice Taiwo Taiwo gave the order after granting a bail application filed by Oyo-Ita.
The former Civil Service Head is standing trial on 18-count charges bordering on money laundering, fraud, among others.
She was arrainged alongside two of her former aides – Garba Umar and Ubong Effiok by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Also standing trial with the defendants are six companies.
They all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Citing the coronavirus pandemic, Justice Taiwo released them to their lawyer, with a condition that they must report at the office of the prosecuting agency for the next seven days until they meet the bail conditions, or face detention in EFCC custody.
