Alimosho teachers defend APC Reps Aspirant, Idris Balogun, debunk allegation against him

House of Representatives aspirant for Alimosho federal constituency, Idris Balogun has cleared allegations that he is not a secondary school leaving certificate holder, a minimum requirement for anyone aspiring for an elective position in Nigeria.

At a press conference in Lagos, some of the aspirant’s secondary school teachers in Alimosho area of Lagos state attested that Balogun, an APC chieftain attended Egan Grammar School in Alimosho.

Speaking on behalf of the teachers, Balogun’s former Basic Science teacher, Olowoyo Kayode, said the allegation was not only false but a plot to tarnish Balogun’s  image in order to score a cheap political goal.
