2022 World Cup play-off: Eguavoen says team ready for competition


Ahead of Friday’s Ghana-Nigeria 2022 World Cup playoffs first leg match in Kumasi, Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has expressed satisfaction with the players’ response in camp and training session, assuring that the team is ready to make the nation proud.

Eguavoen, while speaking after the Super Eagles’ first training session in Abuja ahead of their Kumasi trip, says that the injury concerns in the squad have been adequately taken care of.

On his part, Samuel Chukwueze who expressed delight to be a part of the team representing the country says he is optimistic about their performance in the upcoming game
