161 Nigerians return from Libya


The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has received another batch of 161 stranded Nigerians from Libya.

The returnees arrived at the Cargo Wing of the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja Lagos at about 5:35 a.m on Tuesday.

Coordinator of NEMA Lagos Territorial Office, Idris Muhammed received the returnees on behalf of the Federal Government, alongside other national agencies and Edo State Task Force against Human Trafficking officials.

The new batch consists of 141 adults, six children, and 14 infants. Among them are three male adults with medical issues who were immediately evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment.
