118 Nigerians stranded in Libya arrive in Abuja

More than 100 Nigerian migrants stranded in Libya have been returned home.

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) announced the repatriation of the 118 Nigerians in a post on Twitter.

The commission said the returnees who arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja in the early hours of Wednesday include 51 males, 41 females, 17 children, and nine infants.

They will be quarantined at the Federal Capital Territory Hajj camp for 14 days in line with the country’s COVID-19 safety protocols.
